5. Parts of a Circle

A circle is a fundamental shape with several important parts. The radius is the distance from the center to the edge. The diameter is the distance across the circle through the center, and it's always twice the radius. The circumference is the distance around the circle's edge. A chord is a line segment that connects two points on the circle's edge. A tangent is a straight line that touches the circle at only one point.
